Anael.........I Love the way your block turned out!! :D It's so pretty & the colors are wonderful. I made mine alittle different using leftover stash from the Mystery Train ride that has just finished. I hope everyone likes it too. We will be waiting anxiously for more pictures to be posted!!

Where is the pattern. I didn't find a post for it. Never mind. Just found it. LOL. I like this and so many possibilities. I can't wait to see what everyone does with this one. I like the three that are done so far.

Here is my May BOM block....I reduced the measurements of the pattern to make it 8 X 8 then using postage stamp squares I tipped the corners of the petals and then set the 8" square on point.

I really like the clipped corners. I almost forgot to look for the new block today. I will start this weekend.

I think you can make it just the way it is, it looks great to me!! :D It is so much fun seeing how everyone ends up making their block for the month. Each one is so individual & I Love that. Linda....... my your "Oh Suzanna" block is just darling!! :D I love the circle right in the center of your block. I can't tell, but is it a doily or applique on there? It really adds to your block. Your fabric's & color's are really great too. Thank you for sharing with all of us today.

BettyB..........what a wonderful block you have made, too. Thank you! The flower in the center is applique (blanket stitch). I used white thread on white fabric - halfway through I wished I had used a different color thread, but now that it is done, I think I like it!

Here is my May Block. I am not sure I like it. I still have to do March and April. Hmmmmm maybe when I am done with those I will change this one.

urgodschild2..........I Love your May block, it's just beautiful!! :D Your combination of yellow & blues just happens to be one of my favorite combination's. It is so warm & cheery looking. Thanks everyone for the wonderful comments on my block. My inspiration as always comes from all that I have learned on this quiltingboard site and from the books and tutorials and then there is just plain nature. Flowers are so fun to make. So far we are seeing some great blocks made from different fabrics which all bring magic to the Oh Susannah square. I sure as the month goes on we are going to see more spectacular presentations of this block in fabrics and interpretations. :thumbup: :thumbup:
