I have watched and admired the Judy mysteries for some time now. This is my first item to actually sew. It will be quilted later this week.

Edited to add: My guild had as the challenge this year, a quilt top that was predominately red, white and black and you could add other colors. This fit the challenge so well. Then I managed to be out of town for the challenge night. Darn!!!

Finished my table runner and it will be given to my son and daughter-in-law. Hope they like it. I think it turned out really cute. Thanks for a great pattern. The second picture shows the Fall backing so it can be reversible, if they want it.

Go on vacation and late to the party as expected. ;) But I had a great time catching up on all the beautiful finishes and getting needed inspiration. I wanted a larger piece but had to work with limited amounts of some of the fabrics. Not enough for sashing, but wound up with a nice size 64 x 70 lap quilt. Judy, apologies for having altered your lovely block.

I need to make a springtime runner for a swap here on the board. Maybe I will need to make one up using Judy's pattern.

Speaking of train rides. Went will the train be pulling out from the station again. About due for another trip.

It started last Saturday. Just selecting fabrics so far. Will start cutting this Saturday. Its Mystery train 16.
