I finally[ATTACH=CONFIG]560572[/ATTACH] got the binding finished up and the label sewn on. The backgroind fabric looks washed out [ATTACH=CONFIG]560570[/ATTACH] in the pics, it's really a pretty gold color. Thanks Judy, this was a great trip

I can't get my pictures to load but am happy to say I finished all three blocks today. and they don't look to bad. lost a few points on the geese but I'm learning.

I love the one on point. They are all so cute. You know who taught me how to set blocks on point? Miss Judy !!! I think it was maybe 3 or 4 train rides ago. I had never tried it before then. That's why I love these rides to learn new things and have fun along the way.

Here is my progress thus far--I like the pattern they form when put together without sashing. It almost looks like the block is the one with the light square in the middle, though we know differently! I made 18 blocks--16 are in the quilt. I bordered the other two and will make throw pillows with them. I'm planning to donate the quilt and the pillows to our adopted departmental holiday family this December. I'll show it again when it is quilted--I hope to get it done in the next couple of weeks.
