Good idea, Mary! Haven't thought that far ahead to decide on a pattern, but like that suggestion.

The finished quilt tops are all marvellous. Isn't it amazing how different they are from each other even though the same pattern? I actually have one square all sewn together. Woot, woot!!! I'll slowly work on the others and hope to have the top done before Mystery Train #19 rolls down the track.

Thank you Judy, for another successful train ride.

Pewa: Congratulations on the finish. I'm sorry to hear about your friend's husband. The quilt will be a great present for her.

Belfrybat: Wahoo on your first block finish! I hope to get one done soon also. :)

Belfrybat.....I have thought the same thing when seeing all the diversity in the mystery finishes. Gives us a glimpse in the unique creativity of each quilter and why I love this craft so much. I pick up so many ideas from others. So cool.

I'm rooting you and retiredteacher on as you continue to create yours.

Pewa, so beautiful. The blue makes it so cheerful.

Belfrybat, I too have finished two. :)

Judy, You were so right on this one when you said, the more variety of scraps the better.

Pewa, your quilting on that quilt is spectacular! It will be loved by your friend.

Is it to late to catch up with the train? I'm new and didn't find the station until after the train had already left. If I run real fast I might could catch it, but having a link to each stop (instruction post) I've missed would save a bunch of scrolling time. If it is to late then I'll just hang around and wave to everyone as you all pass by, lol.

SewingSenior -- Welcome to the quilting board and to the mystery quilts. And it is never too late to join!
Go to posts #111 on Feb 3 for first cutting and sewing
Post #224 on Feb 10. And I think there is a clarification on post #252
Final clue to finish on clue #262 posted on Feb 17

Can't tell you what page as there are many different settings for how many posts per page, so maybe knowing the date to scroll to page by page will help you get to where you need to be. Will look forward to seeing your top posted.

Thanks, I'm a hobo at heart so I should be able to jump right on this train.

I'm sure if you save or print out the clues it won't take you long to make. This one was a fast and fairly simple one. I made a runner using 3 blocks. So if you don't want a quilt try that. Welcome also. Judy said we are having another mystery train ride I think in April. She mentioned it in one of the first few pages. Check it out and watch for it too.
