I like this! I'm thinking of not doing those corners. Thanks for posting this and your other one. i find it difficult to see the star with those corners that are added.

I just finished my Hawaii block. I like how it came out. I'm not sure if the fancy corners will match the rest of the quilt but I put them on anyway. I figured I could always remove them later if I don't like the way they look with the rest of the quilt.
