Judy, I got both, but haven't tried the bigger ones, using the smaller ones to cut the embroidery floss as I embroider & I love 'em.

We have thunder! Oh, that's all - no rain, just loud bangs so I need to go get Dufus inside.

You never said a dickie bird about the Avante you were hoping to look at/try - what happened about that?

I guess I'll have to look at those scissors...I tend to use cheapies most of the time. I do have a really nice pair that someone here sent to me..very nice...I use them for "special" projects...LOL!
