Kathy I think the blue makes it look as if there's a window in the center and you are looking at the sky. I'm thinking an entire quilt with blocks that have the blue interior ( not necessarily all the same out side edge colors) would be really cool.

Well, despite what everyone said this block was much more frustrating than I expected! :shock: I stuck with it and it's all done but what a mess! I won't even go into the froggin' part of the block making! I had tucks, pleats, and gathers. I ironed those babies into submission until some of the edges are a little ruffly! Oh, well. tucks, pleats, gathers and ruffles. What's not to like? Right? I'll just add a few coping borders around these blocks and I'll soon have me a quilt. Really!
One more block to go! Card Trick? Am I up to tricks? (don't answer that!)

Another Perfectly Pink Purty! I don't see any gathers, pleats or tucks! Looks Beautiful to me! :D :D :D

Yvonne, I think your block is lovely and with all the other pretty blocks you'll have a wonderful quilt in another 2 weeks. Good for you. I think it's great that you had some forethought about using same fabric/colors in all the blocks. Not Me, boy! I made all of mine different and NONE of them will go together. Oh! well, I love them just the same and I love your block and your quilt.

All my blocks are differnt colors too. I did however try to use at least one color in each block from amnother one.
