Let's see some photos of these great blocks. I found these two easier then last week!

Here are my blocks. I must admit I did them awhile ago. I did cut all the outside triangles larger than required to make sure I had points after squaring up the block. Anne

I did too! I got tired of trying to stretch them out to be the 6 1/2 inches. I'd be so-o close but not quite there so I'd dampen them and press while pulling just a little.

Here are my 19 & 20. I have done a lot of blocks I'm not wild about, some of which may not get to be a part of the quilt when I put it together; however, I do like these two.

janRN, I love both your blocks, #20 love the contrast! #19 is so colorful! I just ripped out one side of #19 have to recut the fabric. I am so disgusted with myself and this block. I think I have a mental block or something. Anne

janRN 10-06-2010 02:03 PM

QNS: I love love that aqua paisley!! Can you tell me where you got it? Your blocks are gorgeous!
Anne thanks for the compliments!! You all are so encouraging-I'm actually liking doing scrappy (although I agonize over matching the fabrics in each block).

Holy cow! That time of the week again?
Great blocks everyone.

Have been studying for midterms we had this week.

Love your blocks. The change from entry to entry just by changing the fabric choices is amazing. Can't wait to some of your quilts finished. They will be so lovely.

19's an oopsy block but I'm keeping it. Strange to make a color mistake while paper piecing. My auto pilot must be some kind of top secret ninja assassin. Off to make ornaments... Don't tell the auto pilot where I've gone.

Pookie, I think #19 is adorable !!!

All the blocks are wonderful. I got a little behind in by blockage but will catch up probably after Christmas. Keep the pictures comming they will keep me and my short attention span going. Right now I am working on things for two Auctions and a Booth at Christian City Children's Home. Plus doll cloths for some Children at a local battered Womens Shelter.

Thanks! I decided I really like the mistake when viewed en pointe. So, it's a keeper.

I'm glad I added Connecting Threads' Antoinette to my 30's mix. It's the background fabric.

I'm finally caught up after being several weeks behind. Here are my 19 &20. I simplified my Checkerboard by using only 3 fabrics and it's turned out to be my favorite block of all that I've made so far. I love it. I'm very pleased with my Churn Dash too. These two were fun to make and a nice change after some of the more challenging blocks.
