Good Morning Ladies, It's show & tell time and all I have to show is:time for me to get my act together! Would you believe that I just got up about 20 minutes ago..and..I went to sleep at 11 last nite..that's 2 nites in a row that I've slept over 10 hours...I guess I needed it...

Time to oooh and ahhhhhh.. pretty blocks please?

Carrie is going to get redone eventually. I'm not a fan of the dark green with the black. I wanted the black to look like bowties, but they get lost in the green, if I put a more subdued solid, it will accentuate the bowtie. Cat, I love. Look closely at the navy pieces, there are little hearts. :)

I almost forgot it was Tuesday, you ladies have such a eye for matching, takes all my effort to follow the colors and patterns in the book, well here is mine for this week, hope all are feeling better, and that the move is settling in, storms have stopped down south, and ladies the nurse in the group says don't forget you flu shot, it has started.

Funny, I ran out Monday morning after I miss cut the fabric that I was going to use, had to go to JoAnn's to get the fabric last minute since I didn't have anything to go with red and orange, the closet quilt shop is more then 2 hours away, kind of bright for thirty quilt but I do like it, lol

I've been using some from my stash too that I am not sure are 30's but they have worked out ok.

I did my cat first, it's actually called Cat's cradle so I filled it with cats lol......

I don't like Carrie lol

Add some of that cat fabric to carrie and it can be a "cat"astrophe and no one would be the wiser....:D:D

I think I like cats....adopted ten of them and one is a house cat that stays inside. Mega gives us much joy and laughter.

I have not always been using the 1930 reproduction, but the fabric seems to work for me. I liked the Carrie block; my DGM's name was Carrie...but she hated being called, 'Miss Carrie' in her teaching career when she was young.. I know our CarrieM loves green and purple, so that was my colors there.

Sounds like everyone is on the mend now, which is good. I am off to see the Cancer skin Doctor and hope the report is good...had enough 'nose' jobs for my lifetime! LOL! Where else we stop, noboby knows as there are at least three or four quilt shops in DM...later..

Now you have inspired me lol...

I do love cats as well but can't have them because I have the dogs. I put them in quilts and paint them lol.

Here's my Cat! It's a tad small for some reason, so I'll have to add a teeny border around it. Cut off some points, but I don't mind.

Love the little hearts in the block.

You gals are so skilful with fabric selection, placement, and piecing...love them.

I only have done till week 14, don't know when I will be able to sew again. I'm mostly doing knitting & crocheting, my machines are in the basement bet DH can't be by himself most of the time. I try to keep up with the ones are are able to do their blocks.

Here are my Carrie and Cat blocks. I got my bow ties turned around on the Carrie block. Was going to pick and change it but realized I liked it better this way.
