Did you make the Christmas Tree yet? You could turn in into another fruit tree! I love your apple tree the way it is.

QuiltE 04-08-2012 07:40 AM

Yes, Christmas tree is done! I'll wait and see what turns up.

I'm always curious ... is there any significance to this block's design and the state?

QuiltE

Now you made me think of what might have been a better fabric ... small leaves with sky showing thru, and yellow fruit!!! Maybe? I should make it again ..... or maybe there'll be another tree to use it on?

QuiltE - There is the Norway Pine. I'm not sure if you want that for it as it looks like a pine tree. You could have 2 Apple Trees.;) Am I being too literal again?

Termi ... Thanks! I had said I was going to be caught up at the end of Spring Break ... and looks like I can do it! 1-1/2 left to go! :) (then I'll be ready to get behind again!:))

DDamsel ... Nope! So please do explain the phrase to this Canuck!

DublB ... You're SO ahead of me ... I have looked at the different blocks, to come, but sure don't remember what there is! Maybe once I get in caught up mode, I should do that ... and do some fabric planning?

QuiltE you should be so proud of yourself for that one ;) I lived in AL for several years... and found this song to be one of the many endearing quirks :D Soooo many versions of a wonderful romantic song!
