Finally finished my last block for this week, it has taken me all morning:o

gardnergal970 10-01-2012 04:30 AM

Great looking fish! Boy that keeps the larder full! Lucky you have such a good source and a DH that loves bringing them home! Your block turned out beautiful, Mirabelle.
We do miss your blocks, Dubib but I know how life happens. So happy that you're getting rain in Texas.

janRN 10-01-2012 08:23 AM

Pretty, pretty blocks everyone--I love the fabrics in all of them. Um, Anne, I never noticed your turned points; I guess I was galloping by too fast on my pony (or jackass LOL).

Great lookin' fish, but I'm sorry, this city gal prefers in a box that says Mrs. Paul's fishsticks!

dublb 10-01-2012 08:43 AM

Mercy me Mirabelle, It's a lovely block!

QuiltE 10-01-2012 09:22 AM

Mercy Me, MiraB ... the wait was more than worth it!!
Simple and beautiful!!!!!

QuiltingNinaSue 10-01-2012 12:54 PM

Very nice catch there, Mirabelle, on the fish and a dh that brings home the fish!! Love your block, with a continuous beautiful theme of Roses, lovely quilt they will all make.

Yeah, I finally finished these blocks.

QuiltE 10-06-2012 03:57 AM

Yeaaaa Jeanie .... those horses look like they're charging right thru. The tan and brown on the points is really effective. And oh so soft and pretty for the 2nd block!

janRN 10-06-2012 04:19 AM

Love the fussy cut horses and colors in your first block, Jeanie, and that second one is so pretty!

gardnergal970 10-06-2012 06:22 AM

On, Jeanie...the pink and blue are so soft and lovely and all of the angles go the same way on the other block. I really both of them.

carriem 10-06-2012 11:35 AM

Mirabelle and Jeanie--both of you have very nice blocks this week!

deranged_damsel 10-06-2012 04:06 PM

Simply beautiful :D

dublb 10-06-2012 05:56 PM

Sun and bright skies peaking thru the storm clouds and the birds are out playing in the puddles!
My favourite Dogs ... Lucy (Setter), Jake (Goldie) and Zammy (Dalmation; Zamantha when she was in Trouble!) along with JanRN's Patches!

Gasp! They just took my breath away!

janRN 03-02-2013 06:17 PM

Thank you, thank you for thinking of Patches!! I tried to show him but since it wasn't cheese he walked (limped) away. MrJanRn got a chuckle out it. Great blocks and a nice tribute to our fur kids!

Hey ... tell that pooch that it's a pale cheesy background! (more butter-like though!!)
Picky Pooch ... just like our Zammy was! Then I'd get those sucky eyes looking at me and melt!!!!!!!!

JeanieG 03-02-2013 10:30 PM

Oh, those are just perfect QuiltE. Love them!

carriem 03-03-2013 06:13 AM

Great fussy cutting QE...a couple more nice finishes

QuiltingNinaSue 03-03-2013 07:07 AM

You are speeding right along, QE. Love the blocks you made and the memories you share with each one! Yes, the ducks are into every puddle they see, from small to large puddles. I love how dh says in the cold days they sat down and put their feet out toward the sun!! Love how you fussy cut those dogs too!!. Your quilt its going to be very special, and will remind you of all the fun we had together on this trail!!

Anael 03-03-2013 07:21 AM

Oh wow, more gorgeous blocks! Beautiful fuzzy cutting!

oksewglad 03-03-2013 08:50 AM

You really are making this a one of a kind quilt aren"t you QE? Very clever and perfectly pieced.

QuiltE 03-03-2013 09:17 AM

QNSue ... You led the way, I merely followed in your footsteps! :D

OKSGlad

Now you are making me blush again, Quilte. Making such a quilt for yourself, should please thyself and bring a smile to your face everyday! Just recalling all my stories and adding your own should do that too.

QuiltE 03-21-2013 09:20 AM

Singing the Blues ... in the Rain! :)

JeanieG 03-21-2013 10:08 AM

I love blue too - those are great GrannyQ!

Thank you all so much. QE, my sister is on radiation treatments and also undergoing chemo. Very tired when she gets home. Thank you for asking. She is able to breath a little better so hopefully the tumor is shrinking in her lung. Not sure what they will do about the blood clots in the right lung.

Such a difficult time for you and your sister. I bet you have made sure she has a nice warm quilt for quilty {{{HUGS}}} when you cannot be there with her. Wishing you both the best, and continued improvements for her.

QE, I started a quilt for my sister & now i have tendonitis in my wrist and can't finish it right now, hopefully soon.

I will try to show a label I'm going to use on my BB blocks only I'm going to use it on the front side.

grannyQ 03-21-2013 03:59 PM

That really took a lot of work trying to get this loaded, hope everyone like the label.

oksewglad 03-21-2013 04:35 PM

Oh I love it!

JeanieG 03-21-2013 05:00 PM

Great label GrannyQ! What a great job! How did you do that, with an embroidery machine?

dublb 03-21-2013 05:33 PM
