Sashing? Ack. I have no idea. As I am trying to use my stash, the quilt is going to be a dog's breakfast so I'm thinking I will need something dark and neutral (read boring) to try not to compete with the variety in the blocks.
Anael, glad I wandered into this thread so I could see your blocks. I absolutely love that basket! Betty's Delight is delightful. Good on ya. |

The foundation fabric I picked while still fun and kid-like, is a little more softer and feminine, in a sense. And with it's colour, it just might be a sunny bright quilt for me to enjoy all-by-myself!!!!!!!!!! It'll all figure itself out, as time goes on!! |

I haven't figured out the sashing yet but I just ordered the backing & already have half of the binding. I plan on doing the flange binding that Charismah has a tutorial on. I tried it on my 6 hour quilt, that took 2 weeks, & loved it! I have 3 kids who don't care but I like the blocks and I love quitling so that's why I'm making this. I guess it will end up in my basket in my living room waiting for somebody to be cold and use it. That's ok with me. |
