Here I am, QNS and all!!! Nice to be missed. I didn't look for the thread until today so haven't gotten any updates.
Jan--the subs are great and your quilting shows the blocks off. QNS--fabric usage is so unique. Lovely fabrics with the horse peeking through. I'm wondering--who let the dogs out? mirabelle--even when you are down to the last scraps you still have beautiful blocks--greens add a new color dimension to your quilt and a lovely tulip! carrie-nice balance of color in VernaB Ggal--equally balanced VernaB in the soft pinks. Do I detect lights on in the early morning at country school--teacher's getting the fire ready with the soft lights of kerosene lanterns? Lovely blue sky :) |

The schoolhouse block was one of the first blocks I made but forgot to post it here.So here it is :D |
WOW Anael...great use of the fabrics...love the "shingles". :)
|
I love that Anael! You are so clever in choice of fabrics. Great block.

Thank you both :D

Oksewglad...so you recognized the sky? It just seemed to fit this block. Thanks.
Anael...you really used brick and mortar to build your school house! Great job. |
I think I shouldn't have quited school early. The bricks aren't lined up :D
|
Hey, Anael, its an old village school house with character...looks very real the way you did it...accidentally on purpose!! Perfect!!
|
It looks great Anael! I like the "off" bricks. They look like the schoolhouse had, had some renovations.
