janRN, Make it easy on yourself and redo the center square--Cut eight T# 13"s instead of the T #7"s sew them (2 # 13 short side to one # 19) to form a larger triangle which will be sewn to the#44 side of the corner triangle. You should now have one complete quarter of the block. repeat this 3 more times then sew the quarters together to get the finished block.

I hope this helps. I haven't started this block yet so I don't have any photos to show the steps yet. Anne

I have this block partially done. I am pp it. I diagramed it myself with a program. This is just to show how it is done without the "Y" seam/inset.

I finally figured out how to change things on these FMW blocks with EQ5 and did it on Block #43. So no more Yseams!....doing the happy dance here...... these two were fun to do. Here are my 3" ones in 30's. The 4" will be coming soon.
