I love the colors in #43! These are both awesome!

Thanks JeanieG ... I really liked that orange print and am looking forward to doing a block where I can use more of it. It's so colourful!!! Just put 53 thru 56 up and did a count ... OMG only 39 to go! :) That really was good news, as I was hoping to get all the blocks done before PC started, but thought I was shooting a little too high ....... so now I really feel it's possible!

These blocks are from the book The Farmer's Wife Sampler Quilt by Laurie Aaron Hird. Most of us finished the whole quilt around August. We did 2 blocks a week and it took us a whole year.

We are going to start The Farmers Wife Pony Club Quilt, also by Laurie in January. The blocks are a little bigger, but I think we will still do two blocks a week. Watch for the announcement inviting everyone to join us. It will be out in a few days.

Both of these books can be purchased from Laurie on her website, and also on Amazon. We would love to have you join us in making this quilt. We have such fun.
