I'm starting week 18 for Jolo, here are my pics of this week, but the comments are Jolo's:

"All I did was either pp or template the patterns, which ever the software indicated. On the Triangle I made extra seams at the bottom, instead of a u seam. does that make sense?"

Don't worry about it Wil' you will get there, even if you catch up one block per week or something.

WeeK 11 is good! Just think, you are heading towards 50 blocks made - that's a nice milestone to hit.

boy do they look bad. The tri is a little wonky will do it over later. I have several that I need to do.lol. The red one is really pretty. The light on it is an olive green with a little red flower. Any way there it is for now. I have been dreading this moment. lol Jolo

Great stuff, Jolo - most of us have had the odd wonky block before now - they will get better. When I look at my earlier ones, I wish I had done them a bit better, but I was on a learning curve too. Do tell your son thank you for organising so we could see your blocks - did you write down how to do it for yourself?

Wow, this week looks a little heavy on applique..,

Lovely set, Janstar - Wil was right, it is a heavy week for applique, but rewarding none the less. I think that by the time everyone had finished their Jane's they will be so proficient in all these skills, they wont' hold any more terros for them.

Nice blocks Jolo and Janstar! Jolo, no worries - your blocks look fantastic. I think all of see that some weeks are better than others for each of us. The triangles can be quite the challenge. I figure my imperfections will not really show in the grand scheme - at least that's what I'm hoping.

William will be home sick today, so I get to work on my blocks - woo hoo, a little catch up for me!

Jolo..I'm so glad you finally were able to post pics. Don't worry about the wonky blocks too much...we all have them and I don't think they will look bad in the whole quilt when its done anyway.

Jan...I was looking at your tri..I'm sooo glad you posted...it told me how to pp the middle section to the rest. I've finished 2 blocks completely, have 2 more to finish hand appliqueing for the week, but I hadn't started the tri yet..

Janstar and Jolo both of you did a great job on your blocks.

I got my Blocks done for this week finished up so I have More for the Secret Quilt!!! These were a bit easier than some were. :wink:

Finished mine today....here they are. I'm having a problem with the applique ones with the 4 melons. I can't seem to get them placed correctly so that the smaller diamonds won't get cut off in the seam...I'll have to take these off and make them smaller.... :cry:
