So do you mean you are using flower fabric? Its sound like a good plan

No Elle..I'm talking about the center being "all the square blocks". Remember I have done the tris..so I haven't started to quilt them yet. I didn't do them in any order..just stuck all the weeks into a plastic baggie and pulled one out, then the next one.

Dee...sounds like you have a great plan! I like your stabilizer idea. Can you figure out a way to run that through your printer? That would sure save you some time tracing patterns wouldn't it?

Dee perhaps if you put it on freezer paper cut to size it would go through your printer, just a thought, would save a lot of work.

I have already traced maybe 80 blocks onto soft and sheer, I thought about using freezer paper but .................paper ripping is not fun. I realize that some of the blocks aren't paper pieced but templated. I'm going to use freezer paper for these blocks just to cut out template not to sew thru.

You have lost me Dee, sorry for the pun none intended. DJ doesnīt have flower blocks that I know off are you making up your own blocks from something then

Elle

I'm going to iron the freezer paper to stabilizer to cut out templates. Wish me luck! I've decided on Pink and brown (because I have so much of these two colors) saving the muslin for album blocks (embroidered block names)

Yes, this is my own interpretation, plus a guide for blocks that I like and future quilts. Hence the name Dear Jane by Dee. It will have some of Janes blocks but I hate hand sewing (applique) and I can never follow instructions (rebel by nature). I love flowers but allergies get in the way. So most of my fabrics are small flowers and this wall hanging will be the easiest garden to maintain(no watering or weeding)

I don't like scrappy, (my life has enough chaos) but I going to try to make it as random as I can. I have already mapped out an arrangement( we'll see if it stays as planned!!!) ha...ha.....ha.... Can't wait to start sewing b ut My trying to be disciplined.
