the perfect solution to tearing paper.......don't use it! Soft and Sheer Stablizer works wonders......and you can trace on it. I even recycle pieces by piecing so there's no waste. And u don't have to remove it.

I started mine some time ago, but haven't done many blocks yet, you all inspire me to take them out & play again! Any special instructions any of you following, or just doing them your own way, as you go, which is what I have done so far. Lots of pretty blocks here everyone!

I'm not disciplined genough to follow instructions for long periods of time. Just picking blocks I like.

Hi happymrs, I have just been checking out the previous threads from last year as they have heaps of tips and also check out the 'ThatQuiltblogspot' she has tutes that are helpful too.

Hi Happymrs...there is a thread where a group of us started making the quilt last year. Here is the link http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-28063-1.htm At the beginning, there is a schedule that several of us followed. There are quite a few who are nearly finished with their quilts and there is also a group who are just starting..so you would be more that welcome to come play!

Happymrs, I use ThatQuilt a lot for directions. Finished my 22nd block yesterday so I still have a long way to go!
