Sorry I haven't been around. I have not done a block in a month or so. I retire next week after 38 years of teaching math. After that I want to kick this in high gear. I just bought fabric for my niece's wedding quilt. So those are the two things I will be working on during the month of July. I am still waiting for my birthday present, a Barnet quilt frame to hand quilt.

Hi everyone, I am so thrilled to tell you that I won a "Judges Merit" ribbon at the National Quilt Championships at Sandown, UK today for my Dear Jane. I am just so thrilled to get the recognition of the 7 years I spent making her. Still on cloud nine ! There is a picture of the quilt on post 420 here and also on my signature below. I will post a picture of my DJ at the show when I can.
