All the blocks are so pretty, when I did mine I had such a hard time deciding what colors to use even using the purples for my granddaughter, there are so many to choose from. I love all your choice of colors too. Makes me want to make another one...lol

I just saw your purple quilt. That is gorgeous and I'm not really a purple fan. It is really striking. It is good to see what the entire quilt looks like as opposed to just seeing one block. I modified my block for the BOM but I wouldn't if I were making several blocks to put together after seeing what yours looks like.

I'm running behind but have all intentions of catching up. Sidelined with making baby shower quilts and a wallhanging for a bridal shower. Will it ever end???? The blocks so far are great. Looking forward to August too.

July BOM I added it to my sampler wall which will be come a quilt one day.

Bird of Paradise is one of my very favorite blocks to piece, so I was thrilled to see it as a BOM. I like how this turned out. I haven't squared it yet, and it still looks a little wonky.

could get along without you. My husband is an invalid and we live in the forest. Most of the time you are the only ones I get to "talk" to. AND ...you know what I'am talking about :o)
