Now here is another question for those that do this kind of block, how do you find the fabrics that look like bricks, stones, grass, etc.? Is there a particular online fabric store that I could go to that would have a good assortment?

Thanks,

Suzanne

I found loads of landscape fabrics at FAVORITEFABRIC.com. Choose "Theames" then go down to "Arcetectural". I have scoured the web for fabric and found everything I needed FF.

Have fun......................

Sigh.... I regret to inform you of the collapse of a local barn this morning. Cause of the disaster appears to be engineer miscalculation. (I should have known my computer chopped off the length of that side wall piece!)

Reconstruction plans are currently under way.

Millstream Mom, So sorry to hear of your collaspe. :) I still haven't printed mine as I'm away from home but I liked someone's idea of printing them out and then making sure they all matched before sewing. Such a simple idea! :)

Your comments remind me of our repeated trips to PEI to friends in Souri, there was a barn in ruin and every year we checked of the progress of it's collapsing! It brings back such great memories of our visits to eastern Canada.

The barn has been salvaged! Maybe a little colorful "Hex" sign will bring it good luck? I always thought they were pretty.... like little round painted quilts!
