Connie those are pretty pastels, I like how the printed fabric makes the heart look like it has even more pieces. :)

Jaba & Connie1984, I love both of your blocks. I finished mine this morning. The piecing has been done for awhile (since I had to finish it before surgery on my left hand Tues., Feb 19th). They just needed something. The rickrack & daisies where what I came up with & now I like them much better.

They look nice mimi, how's your arm doing? It must be healing along and getting where you can use it a little more huh?

mimiknoxtaylor 02-26-2013 02:34 PM

Thanks for asking Jaba. It was my left hand, for severe carpal tunnel. If any of you have it, or get it, don't wait until it's severe before you act! That is awful pain. But mine is healing nicely & I know I'm using it more than I should but I ice it down several times a day.

Oh yes I hear you, did the same thing. But it certainly is wonderful relief after it gets healed.

You are so right. I've had the numbness for 10 years & was amazed that even in recovery my fingers weren't numb! Just wonderful & no more of the terrible pain at night ( except in the right- it's next)

Mimi, I am glad your hand is healing.
