Beautiful Patrice! Since it is propped up against the sewing machine I was thinking it would make a nice sewing machine cover front.

it's already a mug rug.
that machine won't ever be covered.
it's a decoration unless i decide to get it restored to working condition.
even then, it will stay out for display.
i'm spiffing it up a little at a time. :)

Here is what I finally decided to do for my heart block. I added some log cabin strips to border my PP'd heart. I had to paper piece the heart in 4 different sections to avoid any raw edges, but it was fun to do.

I meant it would make A nice sewing machine cover for A sewing machine, not necessarily that mug rug or that sewing machine, or even one of your sewing machines... , I think I meant the pattern would be nice for anyone to use to make a sewing machine cover!
