Here are my second week blocks. The green was my fabric choice, the purpley blue was the OTL. There isn't quite enough contrast, but the pattern matched a tie he wore when he came to take me to the opening dinner of the college. I love seeing all of the blocks!!!!!!!

I am having a hard time keeping up with all the new blocks...everyone is doing a great job! Good contrast and piecing too!!

Marne, the contrast is in the design of the fabric, not the color. And I LOVE purple :D
I think both blocks are beautiful! He doesn't sew his own blocks, does he?

All the block are looking good, I am still interest in see how the different fabrics make the patterns look different.

I think I'm going to have to add a few colors to my blocks....I'm thinking soft yellow & lavender for the blocks that need more. I will be using an aqua green for the sashing. I'm just thinking out loud...I have to get a few more pieced before I decide...Thank's for all the compliments...All the blocks are so pretty...Honchey
