I'm glad you're having fun with it!! That's the idea! LOL I am glad that you are starting to see the technical details besides the overall design. That is the fun stuff to see how easy it really is but looks so intricate.

Mistakes are the backbone of learning. I do everything by trial and error so I make a gazillion mistakes!!

Hi Rhonda and Everyone,

It is week 12 and I just now found this group. Is the party almost over or will this go on all year? Is it the plan to make one of every block shown each week, or just the ones I like, or should it be 'all stars' or 'all bostons' or ??? Scrappy fabrics or specific colors..... of course I guess that would be up to me to decide, lol...

You can pick and choose which ones you want to make or you can do them all. Partly that will depend on the size of sampler you are making and the size of quilt block you decide to do.

There are over 200 blocks in the Dear Jane quilt but we are using 6 1/2" size instead of her 4 1/2" size. I had it figured out how many I need to provide but I lost it! LOL I plan on doing this for a year at least. We are starting month 4 so it will be going on for awhile yet. Everyone is just working on them as they have time so there is no time limit. The Sampler threads will be on the board for a long time I expect.

If you need templates you can pm me or email me. I send them out free no postage needed. Just please don't post your address here as it is a public forum. Just let me know if you need any! There is a wait of about a week or so right now before I can get them in the mail. I just reordered more earlier this evening.
