Thanks for adding me, Sis (Yvonne) ! One of these days I'll figure out computers. As a challenge to myself, I decided to see if I can work each of the blocks, whatever they may be, in a smaller size! So here's the first one, our Blazin' Arrows...at a cute lil 4 and a half inches! Sorry that it's not very clear. I'm either goin' blind or need more pixels..

Leslee, you're not going blind (I almost typed blond). We are. That is a mind boggling optical illusion type block, and to be that small, too, you're eyes couldn't possibly be bad. Mine are still crossed from looking at it.

has anybody else noticed that no two people have done the block in exactly the same way? and that Norah is the only one so far who did it in strict compliance with the website instructions?

I think that's GREAT!!!!! Independence Day should not come only once a year.

(yes ... that was me on the news. third row back, fourth from the left. the one with the pitchfork and torch at the palace gates. LOL)

Patrice have you decided yet on your block for April? When will you be doing the unveiling. We have 17 people now. How many 12" blocks will go on a queen size bed?

If you set them with no sashing, just block against block with no borders, you would need 56 blocks. That would give you a 84 x 92 inch quilt. However, you are probably going to want some kind of sashing and an outer border, possibly even an inner border. Which means you could get away with approx. 25 blocks with a 2" sashing.
There are so many variables, wow. This is going to be so interesting to see how everyone sets their quilts.

I got "yelled" at before for not wanting to wait until next month for the next block.

I'm cookin' up something i hope you all think is special and worth the wait.

It will either go up on the 31st or the 2d. I am soooooooooooo not posting it on the 1st. LOL
