Hi
Mary that is lovley I still don't know how you have the patience to do 4" blocks, I know I have some time don't have it with some of the small peices in the 10" blocks.
Rhonda your blocks and lovely and I agree with you about the small pieces.
Patrica your colours are so refreshing and can't wait to see the finish quilts.
I am going to try to hand sew 6" block in my lunch breaks at work and when I don't have my sewing machine with me,using the Sylvia's Bridal Sampler from Elm Creek Quilts, I dn't know how I will go. I have ordered the book and hope to start in it in February.

Mary--you are doing a great job on all of your blocks! How many blocks are you doing? How big will it be when finished?
I got my blocks laid out today. I am going with black sashing. Not sure on the setting triangles yet...have enough of the green and the pink. Then will have the black floral as an outer border.

Congratulations everyone on such well-done, beautiful blocks. I couldn't pick a favorite if I tried. Each one is prettier than the last and so different. It's amazing what color choices and fabric placement does in changing the appearance of the same blocks. Awesome.
Got my blocks done, camera is MIA (we're finishing a kitchen remodel and the camera is in a "safe place" somewere). Promise to post after Christmas.
Merry Christmas everyone!
Peace-Jan

I agree with you Jan! Will look forward to seeingyour finished blocks! I still have 3 blocks to finish and I may also make more 4" nightmare blocks cause I'm going to want this to be a nice sized wall quilt with a bit of drama...thinking of black as my tie in color...I also wish everyone a wonderful and Merry Christmas to you all!
