Very nice, JeanieG. Love your little polka dots and the wonderful colors in your Goosey Loosey block.

I didn't like this block at all--too "uncontrolled" or busy for me. After looking at all of your blocks now I really like it. Great blocks, ladies, and such variety from batiks to florals to polka dots. Such talent!

Default November SYE BOM

I did it, I got my block done before Thanksgiving. I still haven't decided exactly how I am going to put this together, but the way I was thinking of doing it, I'd need 4 half blocks, but still have to wait to see which blocks extra I'll make.

I do hope everyone posts the pictures of at least the finished top when we are all done. Everyone's blocks look so nice and I'm excited about see all the finished ones.

I hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving. Don't eat to much.

Default Variation on Loosey Goosey

Alrighty! Here's my Loosey Goosey block. As you can see, I was asleep during the cutting instructions and put in a light blue where the white background should have been used. Never even noticed the error until I was well into sewing the block. I decided to go ahead and finish the block, chalking the error up to "another variation of Loosey Goosey." I'm intending to use my blocks in a queen size quilt for myself so I'll need plenty of blocks and this one will just add to the final tally. I'm going to repeat the block with the correct colors.
