My Mom and Dad will both be 92 next month. Dad bought Mom a
BIG t.v. - it's easier to see and to read the captions at the bottom of the picture. We went over there to set up the t.v. We used the quilt that I had made for Mom, to set the t.v. on, so that we could hook it up and then turn it around on the table.

The quilt is really pretty - I made it just for Mom, using Eleanor Burns' fabric in soft floral pastels.

When we finished with the hook-up I put the quilt back on Mom's chair where she always keeps it - floral side in - just like she had it. When
Mom saw it she got all upset and kept saying "where's the note? where's the note?"

The "note" was the label that I had put on the back of the quilt telling
my Mom how much I appreciate having such a wonderful mother and father to guide me through life.

It's the best "note" I ever wrote.

That very sweet. So far my mom doesn't want a quilt. Unless I make some thing "art" to hang on her wall. I don't do art quilts, yet.
