Great job. I think you save money by doing it yourself. I was shopping for a baby shower and the least price was 6.00 for a unadorned shirt. I purchased a pattern and fabric for under 15.00 and made a cute dress & hat. So keep up the good work.

Absolutely adorable--both. I love your work and pretties on the little frock, and the little girl is a doll. Lucky you. My babies are GGrands now, and their mamas don't like homemade dresses. Hurts my heart, you know.

making dresses for my granddaughter is on my bucket list...can't wait. I found a place that sells the patterns for 50 cents

Sew cute! I did the same thing for a granddaughter and her cousin on the other side of the family, but it was a white dress with a big collar that had an embroidered Christmas tree. The dress was $75.00 in the store. It was very easy to copy and no, it was not real expensive for the fabric.
