Default 18" Long Doll Dress

18" Doll-Long Dress

Ok, I am on a roll. Just finished this dress for my DGD. DH just finished spray painting the clothes rack he made for DGD. Another dress is on the ironing board and need to do finishing touches on the PJs I just finished. Grandma can hardly wait till Christmas to see her open them.

This is the pattern I used. It went together very quickly. I am thinking of doing a quick tutorial when I get time... time is a little short right now.

And this is the clothes rack made from PVC pipe. Cheap and quick!!!

Beautiful! I love purples. Did he use a special paint for the pvc ? Will it scratch off or peel ?

DH used Krylon spray paint.... French Lavendar. If it peels, we can spray it again. Being that DGD is 7, I would expect it might get scratched. I don't think it will peel. DH lightly sanded it and thinly sprayed it. The whole thing comes apart for storage or for mailing. We are going to take it apart for traveling. Super convenient.

Both are great. I made a bunch of those clothes for the granddaughter and she told me "I'm the luckiest girl in the land". Now she has outgrown it. I know your granddaughter will love it all.

Just finished another dress last night. I am enjoying this more and more. I like this gal's way of just putting a strip of velcro down the entire back seam. Makes it go together fast and doesn't look bad either. Merry Christmas!
