It took me 2 tries before I found my Sweetheart & we have been together for 33 yrs. And a lot of those were very hard years. We just make time to actually focus on each other every day. Even if we ony have 20 minutes. And speak honestly but very kindly to each other. You have to cont. to show respect. Yes, long lasting relationships can work and they require a lot of work. Oh & do not keep score cards against each other. That is baddddd. Just let your love for each other show in little ways as often as you can. I wish you many many happy years together.
