Oh my gosh! That looks just like the car I drove in high school. My Mom and Dad bought a 59 Metro new and my Dad still has it. It is tourquoise and white with black and white houndstooth interior. My nephew drives it all the time. I can remember putting the top down and driving it on hot summer nights. A good high school memory.

I love what you have done with this car. It is absolutely beautiful. Have fun with it. They are great cars.

What a cute little car! Great job on the interior. What do the words on the pillow say? Did you sew the upholsery or did it come in a kit? I ask, because my husband restored a '58 Porsche, and I declined to sew the leather seats. He sent them to a pro, and they turned out much better than I could have done.

Yes I sewed the upholstery. This was our 1st car to do. It was fun but wouldn't want to do it for a living.
