I don't really think there is a secret Marjpf. It is a lot of hard work,Talking, praying and Mostly FORGIVING AND FORGETTING WHAT YOU ARE FORGIVING FOR!!! If your love is not strong enough for that it will not make it 49 yrs. all the yrs were not happy,some dragged on with misry and pain a long time. But the good out weighed the bad tenfold.

Congratulations on your milestone! It's great to hear you say the good outweighs the bad tenfold.
Commitment, that's what it takes. We have made it 30 years, and are right now wading through some of the bad, but we still have each other, and that's what counts.
