a truly remarkable story, sent to my husband by a friend. my husband left manhattan on the last ferry out, without even knowing what else was taking place on the water. friends of his were leaving on tugboats and anything else that floated.

it wasn't until after they left land that he saw the other boats and their passengers.

I saw that awhile back & found it absolutely amazing. People are so wonderful when the chips are down.

I love that Captain of the Amberjack! :) What a fantastic story...brings a tear to my eye, and faith to my heart that people are basically GOOD! :)
