My DC is gone!
...sewing area is tidied,
...back in my own bathroom
...stash is reassembled,
...back in my own bedroom
...cat loves ME again
...I've reclaimed the recliner....
WAAAHHHHHH!!!!! :-( :-( :cry: :cry: :thumbdown: :thumbdown:
SHE read the instructions...I cut,
SHE was on Facebook...I sewed,
SHE did crosswords...I sewed,
SHE watched TV...I sewed,
SHE messaged her friends...I sewed,
SHE went to the barn...I sewed,
SHE went and got lattes with DD...I sewed,
BUT!!!
SHE cooked every meal,
SHE did all the laundry,
SHE did all the pressing,
SHE fed the dog and the cats (even the chickens),
SHE kept me sane, made me laugh, took all of us to yummy birthday dinner at the Olive Garden, bought me tons of fabric and notions (and pushed me to get the project done!)
However I did manage to grab a picture of her at the machine while I took a breather!! "You're tired?" she says. "Well I am 20yrs older than you!", says I. "Oh."
What a true and loving friend!! She'll be back in spring, YAY :thumbup:
