I have a closet full of porcelein dolls packed up for my granddaughters. I collected for a while but then had to pare down! :(

Thank you so much for sharing this with us....they are amazing...I love the first two...such expression in the faces.

Even as a child, I didn't like dolls...not the normal kind anyway. I have known many people who collect dolls and I just didn't understand....I even found some of the baby dolls a little creepy. Then I discovered the alternative.....the more fantasy/artistic kind and I LOVE them. The imagination and craftsmanship is wonderful....takes you into a whole different world. Imagine the stories that could be woven around these characters.

What exquisite dolls! Does the doll maker design the heads/faces? Years ago I had a friend who made dolls, designing their faces, hands and feet. Thank you for the pictures.
