Dolores Claiborne --- yeah that was a good one. The book was even better.[/quote]

Didn't know it was from a book. Will have to check that out.

Stephen King wrote it. Your library should have it. It's an oldie but goodie.

8-)

I think the ones you are thinking of are "The Sacketts". I have those and love them.

All time fav: The Sound of Music (OK, this dates me, but I first saw it as a young child!). Recently I've enjoyed the Miss Congeniality movies.

There are too many terrific pictures out there for me to be able to narrow it down to one, even if you gave me a month. I have 374 on tape and DVD and I love them all.

I will tell you my favorite actors and actresses though.

Gregory Peck Judy Holliday
Sidney Poitier Angela Lansbury
Darren McGavin Thelma Ritter
Roddy McDowall Margaret Rutherford
Neville Brand Olivia DeHavilland

I have flipped through everyone's answers yet, but my favorite is "mrs. miniver". For some reason, I will always watch this movie.
