What is Carol Duvall doing these days? I miss her. Remember the Home Show? They were going to buy a town for craftspeople - 'guess that went down the tubes, too. We went to see the filming of the show - had a good time, but miss the show.

I guess they assume we are all remodeling our homes.

I have to go along with most of the posts. I used to watch it all the time, but since the good shows like Design on a Dime and Decorating Cents and several others have gone I do not watch it much. Now I watch it mainly for the hosts. I like Design to Sell and Property Virgins. I feel HGTV has changed their targeted audiance. TLC is another channel that has totally changed since I started watching it 25 years ago.

I went to HGTV and wrote to them sending them some of your comments. Maybe if we all went to HGTV (you have to sign up) and made comments on their message boards maybe we could get some of the good programs back or at least some new ones. I miss Carol Duval too, but she is in her late 70s/early 80s, so I think she has given up doing the TV shows.

I used to be. But the shows started to redundant. I would have it on while I was sewing. But now I am hooked on books on CD's. I find I can get more sewing done without the TV on.
That being said I am going to watch the Daytona 500 while I am sewing this Sunday. That is my Super Bowl.

Still watch certain shows, but really miss
the quilting program they had on. Like the
Intl. House Hunters, design shows, and Mike
Holms. Other than that I don't watch HGTV
like I once did. Betty Lee

I do enjoy House Hunters and House Hunters International. Miss the quilting shows. It is really hard to find quilting shows on TV. Occasionally they show Sewing with Nancy and Fons and Porter, but that is all. It is really sad that "they" have decided quilters don't watch TV.
