Well, I really like House Hunters, but they make me break the 10th commandment all the time, between awesome kitchens and "bonus" rooms, finished basements (aka what great sewing spaces)

I guess they assume we are all remodeling our homes.
Ladies, did you ever stop to think they are catering to a younger audience? Think about it, most of us have our own homes and are comfortable in them. How many of the younger generation does 'crafty' things anymore. They go where the money is. What they need to realize is that we are still a force to be reckoned with!! LOL

I watch the shows, However I'm getting tired of people that have $75,000 to remodel their kitchens and go over budget.

Love your quilt! Did you design it yourself?

I really miss the gardening (espically Paul James, he was more practical) and quilting shows like Alex Anderson.

Thank you, I did! Actually it is a sampler, 63 different blocks in a variety of black and white with little splashes of color throughout. It took me the better part of 6 months, because when I quilted it (on my BabyLock Quilter's Choice Professional) I chose not to do an over all design, I quilted each block according to its design----let me tell you I will not be in a hurry to do THAT again!

Me, too. What really won me over was when I heard that when he sees a project that a home should have & the family really deserves it & the show's budget has runs out, he may take the cash out of his own pocket to do it. That impressed me a ton.

You can have him when he finishes my house. LOL
