We went to Paris this summer and I discover the fabric district near Sacre Cour in Montmatre. However, since our time was limited all I could do was gaze at the fabric on the sidewalks as they quickly walked ahead of me!
If you haven't taken the trip yet, be sure to get a copy of Rick Steves travel book on Paris. He gives such great advice such as book your Eiffel Tower tickets before leaving home so that you don't have to wait in line; also, purchase the Museum Pass if you are planning on visiting at least three of the museums......this puts you to the front of the line (much like the fast pass at Disney!).
Enjoy the sights, the food and especially the memories that you will make with your daughter!
