How extraordinary. It is amazing how they feed. I was making 6 cups of water a day. And since the beginning of the month, there aren't as many hummers. They are only drinking 1 cup a day now. They will soon be gone and I will have to wait until the end of April, beginning of May to see them again. Thank you so much for posting this video.

Humming birds are one of my favorite creatures in life. They fascinate me, and I have never seen this explanation before. Thank you so much, Ditter, for always bringing a spot of joy into our lives. Sure glad I found you! Thank you for being such an interesting friend who really knows how to share. Love and blessings, Roberta

The video was awesome. I have a feeder that I watch daily & I am amazed at how much these little guys eat. I rarely get 2 to sit at the feeder at one time, they usually chase each other away, it's so funny to watch. They can be so aggressive with each other.

Thanks for sharing Ditter43. We have a feeder outside our living room window. Cheap and much more enjoyable entertainment. The other day we found out why there was so much splatter on our front door, stoop and my car. The neighbors cat tried to do a running leap toward the birds and missed them, knocking the feeder swinging. Can't stand that cat.

Oh Ditter, that was beautiful. Hummers are my very favorite. We have several feeders out and have lots of varieties of hummers every day. Wish I could identify all of them
