Amazon Pay Phrase
#1
Have you seen this? It's amazing. You type in a phrase you choose when ordering anywhere on line that uses payphrase (most websites will start using it) and it's automatically ordered and billed to you through Amazon. I trust Amazon. I've ordered from them for years. Apparently the place you order does not see your credit card info at all. How easy (lazy) is technology making our lives?

I haven't even heard of that. On the one hand, it seems like a totally cool idea!
OTOH, it seems too hackable for my comfort. I'm sure some people will think up great phrases, but there will be phrases that lots of people gravitate to. Like, "I love NY." or "I love Edward" or something.
I think I'll wait and see how it works out before I join in.
Regarding PayPal, amma, I have an account that I haven't been able to use for much of anything. Almost no online places I know of even accept it. I'm not an eBay shopper.

It's interesting to see how many on-line companies are giving a "bonus" this season. When I used my paypal acct at one place, I got an instant $10 refund. I just got a deal that when I use my Discover I get $5. It's becoming the trend. When I bought a new printer recently, I went to a site that lists all rebates available, so I got another $10 from HP. Those who are frugle, save!
