Is there a group for lady's that make the American Girl clothes? If so would love to join. I've seen at least 4 mentions of the clothes just since I logged on. Even tho I have moved from Ill to Mt and don't have access to craft fairs I still find myself making new outfits for my dolls. They become an addiction after a while lol.

You have been a busy little bee. I love all the items you made for the American Girl. Isn't it ridiculous the price that any of the items are sold for in the American Girl shops?

Your aprons are cute!! Does anyone know of a source for buying American Girl Doll - shoes and accessories - inexpensively? I like to make clothes as gifts for my granddaughters - but would be nice to add shoes and such!!

Here is a link to make a HOBO bag for AG dolls...and print real fake money...The money is so cute. You have to sign up, but they don't bug you. http://www.dollclothespatterns.net/

Most likely Nancy Ziemen's website is the best source for inexpensive accessories, although I am not sure. Here is the link to over 200 items. http://search.nancysnotions.com/?q=1...39&sp_cs=UTF-8

I have found patterns in books and McCall's and Simplicity that have patterns and directions for making some shoes and accessories. You just have to look around. Some things I believe those who sew can figure out without a pattern.
