Default American Pharoah

We are so proud that American Pharoah won the Triple Crown. Some good news and a reason to be happy. He was broken in Marion County...recognized as "Horse Capitol of the World" by our Chamber of Commerce. A good thing! YAY!

I watched the race since I thought he was going to win the triple crown. Great news for the horse businesses!

YEs, Native Texan, that's the horse. It's a good boost to the horse industry and just a positive boost after all the bad weather news, etc.

He was SO beautiful in that race, as in the others! He was always in front to the end, such a long stride, really stretches out. I was so happy that he won. Long past time to have a Triple Crown winner!!

Unfortunately for him and others, they'll be "broke down" after a few more races, most likely, so they'll put him out to stud and the owners will make tons of money on him. The race horses are trained, ridden and raced MUCH too soon, a horse isn't even fully "grown" until they're about 4, by that time most of the race horses are done for.

The owners have put a lot of money into him, so only fair they get some back....he will have a good life after his racing career is over.......

Like everything else in life it is driven by money..........

I watched the race. I also watched the muscles on Pharaoh as he stretched. I wondered how he ran like that and didn't hurt himself.
