Such a beautiful dress. I have to learn how to put zippers in. I would love to make a dress like that for my daughter. She's a bit of a tomboy but dresses up once in a while.

Let her were dresses as long as she will. My GD recently looked at my photo album showing her in little frilley dresses I made for her 30 yrs ago. Her remark was "No wonder I hate dresses if that is the way you dressed me"

How precious! I'm so jealous. Both of my DGDs are tomboys. The 3 yo is definitely not a girly girl and the 15 yo only wants holey jeans and cute little tops. Oh for the good old days!

I am so lucky. I get to see the before (fabric), the after (the finished product) and the cute little girl that has such a loving grandmother as we live only about 1 1/2 miles apart.

What a cute dress!! My DGD likes the dresses I make her too, she wears them till she can't fit them over her head anymore.

Beautiful dress. I like your color combo much better than the pattern.
