I just finished this book by Gillian Flynn and really enjoyed it. Any one else read it? What did you think?

I really enjoyed Gone Girl. I thought the author was very good so I read her other books, Sharp Objects and Dark Places. It's refreshing to read about "dark" women characters. See if your library has Sharp Objects, I recommend it.

I really liked "Gone Girl". The twists and turns of the plot were fascinating. I'll look for the other books by Gillian Flynn.

Are these authors of mystery books? My favorite books are "who done it"

Glad to hear you liked it - I have it on hold at the library, but the other "holds" are numerous before me! I'll look for her other book - thanks for the tip!

James Patterson writes some very interesting books, he does the Alex Cross (detective) ones they made movies from. He also does the Murder Club series(a group of women-lawyer, DA, etc who solve murders), Michael Bennett mystery series, 'Private' series (about a chain of private detective agencies in different countries), and a ton of others. He's written over 100 books. Almost all of them are really good. He does a lot of writing with other people too sort of like Tom Clancy does. I think they do the plot and let someone else write the words but they are still good to read. I think I've only come across one that I couldn't get into. I usually grab his books as soon as they come to the library.

I read it. Kept reading even though I didn't "like" her. Thought she was a head case. Glad she's not in my world! But a good read.
