sandiannie....my yard looks like yours. :( We were supposed to have yet another snow storm last Tuesday, so I booked off work and planted seeds. Thsi is what we discovered this morning. Not bad for only 5 days in the dirt!!!!

What's sprouting? Something in the cabbage family (guessing by the shape of the leaf)?

Yes, they are Brussel Sprouts. Yummy!!!

I have cabbage, brussel sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, marigolds, petunias, and a few tomatoes and cukes sprouted :D
