Does anyone here do cross stitch? If so I have a question, Iam using 16 count adia, do I stitch over one or two

Hi Pat, I love cross-stitch!
For 16 count Aida I stitch over 1.
I only stitch over 2 for the really high thread counts.
What are you making?

I am doing a Easter design from With Thy Needle and Thread called Easter Peeps Parade it is so cute. Thanks for your answer I don't know how to count on linen. What fabric do you use

Pat, I've used linen and aida mostly. Nowadays the high thread counts are harder on my eyes but I love the way it looks. When I use the higher counts I go over 2 threads- anything over 18.
I have a sampler I did in the 80's from 28 count Linda- I could never do that now!
I hope you show your project when you get it finished. I find cross-stitch relaxing, like quilting.

I love counted cross stitch and have some pictures I want to do, just haven't. I have a magnifying mirror that hangs around my neck so I can see the little holes easier.
