APC concert

My son and I went to an alternative rock concert with A Perfect Circle on Wednesday. It sure was fun. Son is friends with the band members so we got the back stage passes and free tickets. It was fun to hang out with the guys. I loved every second of it, but especially entertaining was being with the musicians as the fans followed them wanting autographs etc. And then there was the girl flashing what she had to the guys on the tour bus. I wish that I would have stuck my head around the corner to see what she thought about a grandma being on the stars' bus.
Two girls were trying so hard to be inconsipuous as they followed "our" group down the street and around the corner. It was funny.
Turns out that she gave one last big boistorous flash and fell over backwards, took a sign out and her boyfriend down with her. Too bad there was not a video of that clever move.
One of the crew had a BD so I got to listen to the professional musicians sing Happy Birthday. I was not about to sing along with the professionals.
As much fun as watching my professional friends on stage was, it was also fun to watch the crowd. Wow, there were a few crazies there. I have some really fun wonderful memories stored away in my memory bank. I am ready to be a full fledged groupie now. Given the opportunity I might even become a 'cling-on'. haha I will try to get my FB photo on here. I regret that I did not get a photo with the group. I hate to have my photo taken but now I regret it.

Dotha, you sound like you had fun..my son does graphic designs and designs alot of the flyers/posters that advertise the upcoming concerts. He recently got to hang out with Aaron Carter after a concert. My DD was one of the promoters of the show so she got to go back stage and hang out with him as well. My concert days are over..after one show..took my kids to see Bon Jovi when the girls were in high school..this gal behind me was smoking some pretty strong "stuff" well to make a long story short..I got a contact high & ended up stoned..I was suppose to be the chaperone for 6 teenagers and my DD's boyfriend ended up driving us all home!! They still won't let me live that one down and I am 62 years old!! crafty_linda_b

This definitely was not very wild. It was in a beautiful venue. APC is not hard rock. People were well behaved. Actually I saw more disturbance at a Yanni concert than any APC ones.
crafty Linda, that is too funny. You and I are about the same age.
